The Mission of the Center for Computational Biology and Bioinformatics (CCBB) at the Indiana University School of Medicine is to conduct outstanding basic, clinical and translational research. Through these activities:
The CCBB promotes advanced computation and informatics approaches to increase our understanding of normal and disease-associated biological processes, drug development, and therapeutic responses.
The CCBB stimulates and facilitates the collaboration among medical science biologists, clinical investigators and health care researchers.
The CCBB educates the next generation of bioinformaticians through direct participation in research activities.
